Spring is here, even when the world is a mess.

Spring always gives me the feeling of hope, it might be the fact that it happens after the many cold gray days and nature awakens full of color, fragrance and bird song. 

 Just a shame that people ruin it with war and destruction. 

These nectarine trees surely do bring a smile on your face, the promise of hopefully better days.

Ephesus Ancient City

After more than 2 months being mostly at home grieving, trying to get my life back on track l went for a little road trip yesterday. 

 

 I went with a friend and the weather couldn't have been better. I have been wanting to go to Ephesus for ages but never got around to it. 

Like everywhere else in Turkey there were plenty of cats, how many did you spot in the photos? 

Road trips were really a thing my mum and l used to do all the time, so l had to think about her a lot, but feeling the sun, being outside and doing something nice did feel good.

I have a few trips planned this year, life is too short to not enjoy life and explore what is out there!
