Our Creative Space...

When it took my mum 5 days to crochet the body of this bag, she said: 'The next one I will knit, crochetting is not my thing, I will knit it a hell of alot faster than this one took'.
So she started to knit... and knitted some more and pretty soon she began talking to herself, mumbling 'this is not going as fast as I hoped it would be'. After some more knitting the mumbling became louder: 'why oh why didn't I crochetted it like the last one'.

10 days of knitting, mumbling and cursing further only one third of the bag body is finished... By now when the weather is pretty cold you can see the steam coming from my mums ears. I'm sure she will eventually finish the bag, I'm also pretty sure that she won't touch any knitting needles any time soon, and will like the look of the crochet hook much more then she could ever imagined ;)

  5. Haha! I am so alike in that way. I normally crochet and each time I see my knitting needles, I feel like I should try them again. Turns out, I just am very bad and slow at knitting. It's so much fun to read a likely story! :)

  6. Your moms knitting is spectacular! I enjoyed reading your humor about the process, as yes it takes time and patience, but the results? Gorgeous...
