Wishing Tree

 

Today we went to Izmir for our monthly flea market visit and came across this wishing tree.

You knot a piece of cloth to the tree and make a wish, how colorful the tree has become :)

I'm not superstitious or religious but I do love these kind of folk things, as they are directly connected to nature.
