Laundry and Blogging

It is funny how things go. More then 2 years ago mum told me she wanted to start blogging, a little outlet to ramble. It suprised me as my mother is not a chatty person, and beside all the blogs she reads, she reads as a lurker as she is too shy to comment, cute hey? So I set up this blog and she wrote her things and I posted them. I must say that it was not a love at first sight situation for me with Blogland, I actually found it a bit useless and nonsense.

After about 6 months with a blogpost per week I started to see the world and our life in a different way. I mean things we see here daily are not so normal for others in far away countries. This thought made us both see things more, and my camera is usually with me to capture those moments and to share here with you and our lovely readers. After that I started to get addicted with blogging and I love seeing and reading other blogs, especially the more personal or creative ones, to feed my curiosity of people's life's.

So here we are after more then two years still blogging and loving it. And what are these pictures? Well something I wouldn't think about picturing if we hadn't our blog. These are our mops, each day we use a clean one and at the end of the week they all go together in the washing machine. Mops are a hell to keep clean so this is a nifty system and here hanging on the washing line is just a fun view we wanted to share.
Thank you all for reading our blog, and for your sweet comments in the past 2 years, we will be here for hopefully many more...

  3. I love the way you are blogging; not only your everyday life is interesting - since it is very different -, but you write it in a very natural, easy-going and funny way.

about mops: oops, I wish you wouldnt showed this pic, because now I feel ashamed. If you have 7 mops for each day, that means you are cleaning every day...it isnt something that I can tell about myself. I have been using the same mop for 3 yrs now...maybe I should change? :-)

  11. I think I actually got three mops. But I DON'T use them every day. Not anymore.

I got them when the kids were small and started eating by them selves... That meant that I had to mop the kitchen floor every other day.

I thought you had some kind of new and very creative project going on when I saw your mops. "I wonder if these will be bags or necklaces??"
