2026 Trip: Antalya

I'm very much behind with blogging. I went on a 2-week trip starting April 16th in Antalya, a Turkish coastal city about 4.5 hours drive from my home.

A city full of history, ruins, castels, mountains, old buildings, quite magical especially as it was not high season, not crowded at all.

I acted like a tourist, visited all the top places, it was a fun 2 full days with 3 nights, and then I flew from there to London, which will get another post or two.

Being some place else, outside, walking did me well after being mostly home, grieving the loss of my mum for the past 4 months.

You will come across pieces of the castle all over the city.

And beautiful old buildings in the old town.

During the evening, it was a different kind of beautiful.

I also visited a waterfall with beautiful caves (with bats) around it, very peaceful. The weather was rainy that day so it was quiet and that was perfect.

And of course I had to visit the beach, it was stormy and beautiful.

I walked a lot but the views were worth it, look at this!

I also took a cable car in to the snowy mountains. It was clouded but I liked the moody views, and again almost no one there :)

I will try to catch up with blogging soon, next post will be of London, I did not the typical touristic stops this time as I did those last year.
