Weekend Road trip

We went for a little road trip this Sunday. It was in the same providence we live but almost a 2 hour drive. Bodrum is especially a popular vacation destination for locals as there is an airport close by, lots of beaches and an active night life in the Summer. 

But now in March it was perfect, we came across these Flamingos in the wetlands.

With all the hate, war and craziness in the world, I too wish I could stick my head underwater and only focus on food and nothing else. 

It was all very peaceful as they are quiet birds.

We also went to a Flea market, picked up some cool Facebook Marketplace finds and even saw a boat race.

The castle in the middle of the city gave some magical vibes.

And I loved coming across this beautiful old carousel.

We had perfect Spring weather with 20 degrees celsius, and felt rejuvenated but tired at the end of the day :)

USA Trip: St George Island and Surroundings

This was our first time going to this area. Our last vacation we traveled through many states, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tenessee and Florida, I wasn't blogging then so I never shared it. This time we decided to travel less and take it slower and we stayed in Florida the entire time, Time flew by.

Already a month has passed, and we only have a week left. St George Island was beautiful but we especially loved the road going there, it was definitely scenic as it was right near the water.

It was the first day of the year, a good day to start 2025.

I've also been spending some time on photography, something I don't always have time for at home, where I only do product photos and then don't feel like taking much of anything else.

I was so happy to catch this little evasive bird with some lovely light in the background.

I love sunsets, low sunshine and especially at the beach of in forests, and the first day had it all.

The berries and lights felt so Christmas like, yet the lights are the sun going through the trees and the berries are pure nature.

And a sunset on the beach to finish a good first day.
