Our Creative Space...

I am not wanting for bags, as you can imagine, but for years now I have only used one of them. The poor thing was too shaby for words, so I set to recreate the same kind of bag that had served me so well.

I choose a dark red and gray velveteen and went to town with the frills.

The rose adorment is very simply made by taking apart a mass produced fake rose and using the petals as pattern to cut even so many petals out of lace or organza. Then putting it together alternating the old and new petals with a pretty button as center.

The end result is rather dazzling. So much so that you will see it soon in the shop for the gothic ladies among us. For myself I cut a simple, unadorned new one. Pheew, this is much more me :)

All the beautiful creatures

Our dogs are all softies, everybody's friends. If a burglar were to come, they would ask him in for coffee.
But when an animal of an other species happens to enter the yard, they all of a sudden remember that they are hunters, and merciless.

We were in the middle of a photo shooting, Estella in frills and make-up for once, when there was a big conmotion and we arrived just in time to save this chameleon. Believe me, it is not easy to divert a pack of twelve dogs intent in killing.

Isn't a beautiful creature? Taken up with gardening gloves, because they are a bit earie to touch, he was brought to safety. They become black when they are frightened, but this one was lucky :)

I proudly present you are super neat sewing room :)

I have shown you this before but it was never so neat and tidy, and before this gets messed up again I had to proof it to you.

Everything is organized either by color or by type, like linen, gingham etc.

This makes creating so much easier, instead of searching for materials for ages we can find everything right away, an unknown blessing.
