As announced last week, this is the very last Monday Moodboard I will be hosting. It has been a fun 2 years but now it is time to sail towards other adventures :) Thank you everyone who joined or stopped by on Mondays!

Happy Easter everyone who celebrates! I love the atmosphere of Easter, especially when it feels like spring indoors and outside. Unfortunatly for many this easter felt like Christmas with all the snow but hopefully you still had a lovely family time with good food.

This week's moodboard is the 99th, and I think it is a great mark to stop with the monday moodboards and start something new. So next week the 100th will be both a milestone and a goodbye for the monday moodboards. After that I will be hosting My Friday Night Outfit each friday. I used to do them and it was super fun, you can see them here to get the idea. This weekend I've worked in the garden in between our normal work. There was a shower place in our garden to clean of sand and salt when returning from the beach, but we never used it and it was only ugly and took space. So I have been filling it up with stones in the same way as our garden path is made. The stones are big and heavy and I'm aching all over today :) But it is finished only in between the stones it has to be filled with cement.

Spring is playing Hide and Seek these days. One moment the sun is shining and the next moment it is raining. With snow at alot of places this year's March is very strange but I'm guessing that Spring will soon win the battle with winter :)

With mom beeing ill the past week, I have been playing nurse with soups, tea and aid.

We were out of town for 3 days, to Izmir for our supply shopping. We had some weird experiences (like always) but this time some things felt like a fairytale. As soon as we got in to Izmir our first stop was IKEA, after that we went to a leather supplier which was on a very busy street. Parking was forbidden but the street was full of parked cars I left the blinkers on just incase. We were gone for 15 minutes and when we got back all cars were gone except for ours and a cop was about to write us a ticket, so I ran to him and stopped him just in time, we got in the car, but the car didn't start! In the mean time the cop was waiting for us to go and I told him that the car didn't start, and funny enough just 20meters further away was a car shop, so I went there and the dead battery was replaced for a new one in 20 minutes and we were again on our way. So within an half hour we saved us a ticket and we got the car fixed, we had stopped at some very weird places on our way, and we were very lucky that the car desided to stop when we were litterally in front of a car shop as Izmir is huge with a population of 6 million and we would have had no idea were to find a repairman. So this was our little fairytale, and here above you can see some gorgeous fairytale like artifacts.

I love the color of eggplant, I also love it as food. There are alot of meals in Turkey involving eggplant.
I found some English recipes of Turkish meals, like karniyarik (stuffed eggplants), eggplant salad, and mousakka, although I'm not sure if that is originally Turkish as you also have it in other countries too. Bon appétit!

It has been a sad week, with children dying in such a terrible and violent way, a friend loosing her husband and all the other terrible things happening in the world. Not a nice way to say goodbye to 2012, and unfortunatly each year has many tragedies, wars, hunger, violence and more.

I'm sorry for starting this week with such a sad and dark post, but this is my mood for today, I hope the rest of the week will turn out brighter.

Our windows are shacking as we speak, we have been having a storm for days now, a nice change after a very long summer.
Weather is a topic that is been used for small talk daily, but it is not a strange thing as weather also effects our mood alot.
