Beautiful Saturday

We had a lovely start of the weekend by going to the beach yesterday to search for shells. On the way back we saw this beautiful boat, still in the making.


You've got to appreciate the amazing craftmanship of the boat, it is really a wonderful thought that this beauty will carry people on the sea in a few months time!

And Saturday evening my treasury has been featured on the Frontpage of Etsy, actually it is there as I'm writting this! Yes! We are ready for the weekend! Hope you'll have a wonderful remaining Saturday and beautiful Sunday!

Monday Blues

Only Etsy addicts will understand today's post. This morning I woke up with Etsy down for maintance as if monday blues are not enough! The plus side was that I actually could clean up some mess during the Etsyless time. And when finally Etsy was back I discovered that my Blue Treasury is on FP, yaay! After all a good start for a monday...


Talking about Etsy, we have reached 3000 conversations, just wondering are we very chatty or is this a normal number? Let me know how many convo's you have, love to find that out!

And to make our monday even brighter, we are featured in the online magazine VivalaModa, page 59!

We didn't wake up with a bad joke but my Treasury ended up on FP and that was a good reason for a smile...


And an even bigger smile gave the amount of hearts, past the 9000, of our shop, it sure feels nice to be loved :)

Mysterious beads

'We found these extraordinary beads in Amsterdam’s flea market, and I can’t, by de life of me, determine what they are made from. They are not glass and not plastic, they look very much like bamboo coral, but again, they feel different, some how. They sure are gorgeous, thought.'

Funny thing is, when it ended up on the frontpage yesterday we got several convo's about what they might be...
*the mysterious beads are seeds , in this case Paxiubao seeds dyed red, they came from the amazon.
*They look a lot like chestnut beads :o) but whatever they are they are very pretty!!
*I wondered if these mystererious beads were 'tagua' beads, or 'vegetable ivory'? The thing about tagua (if that's what they are) is that they can be dyed really nicely, varved, and have a nice shiny surface like your beads here...
.... still a mystery....


So, what do you think they are? We would love to hear more interesting suggestions....

Handmade Weddings

This morning we had a nice surprise on Etsy! Our 'Wild Bride' necklace was on the frontpage!


The Storque has started a serie of 'Handmade Weddings' and we are featured in that article!

Great things happen :D

We are so excited that we finally found our niche! People who have been reading older posts must know that we had our difficulties with that. The Sea Urchins are doing great and gets alot of attention :) The other day we where on the Frontpage of Etsy thanks to Pamela Angus's beautiful treasury (please check out her awesome shop)! The next great thing was that the earrings where sold to one of admins members of Etsy!!! So we had alot to celebrate!

Also we got alot of blog features in a short while, wich also says that we are on the right track!
