Etsy Smiles

After 3 years selling on Etsy, a sweet convo can still put a big smile on our face, like this one:

''WOW, WOW, AND WOW! I just wanted to tell you how magnificent your work is. These necklaces are really need to be discovered by movie stars or something because I can definitely see some of these big confections around the necks of Sandra Bullock, etc!''

Great way to wake up with such a message :)

Even if sales are slow this kind of messages keep us going, how about you, what keeps you motivated beside loving to be creative?

  1. oh this is such a beautiful message! And I have to say, i totally agree! :)

  2. What a fantastic message, and so well deserved! Your work is fabulous! :)

  3. Messages like these are super, Star!
I try to create stuff for more busy times when it's slow. I also like to take some time to myself... :)

  4. Great message to wake up to indeed, and I agree, your work is soooo cool! I am glad with a nice convo too, or a feedback, or a message from Iragrant her daughter likes my notecards and puts them on doors ;-) And just looking at my palette is making me happy, the promise of all the possibilities. And popping in and out on the thread....feeling the friendship and energy!
I think of my exhibition in Bussum, the chances I look for in the US (I emailed Wally Findlay...I am thinking big)...I see so many chances..Did you ever try to contact a big store in Hollywood!???

  5. Such positivity is the way to go, Nancy :)
No we never tried Hollywood, maybe one day :)

  6. It is quite recharging to get messages like this :-)

And yes....think bog - why not contact shops in Hollywood? or NY?

  7. when I see that my money is leaving my account for food and annoying bills.
I then shout "you need some money!"

of course this is far beyond the love of creating :)

sweet messages always bring a smile to my face as well. And I think we're all working to make people happy :)

  8. That was nice wasn't it?

  9. You truly do make stunning work and you deserve such lovely comments. Congrats! This necklace is to die for!

  10. Wow, is right! Great work and a well-deserved compliment.

  11. How nice of a customer!!!
    And well deserved!!!

    What keeps me going?
    New supplies
    A challenge
People wanting to learn from me
The support of my team mates

  12. And SALES - the most motivating factor!!!

(sorry for the double post! was slow in thinking, but fast in clicking the publish button :)

  13. such a great and your mom totally deserve it:-)

  14. Indeed, in the famour rue des Antibes in Cannes where all the beau monde shops I saw necklaces in this style made by Reminescence.
