As promised, a blogpost about my trip to Istanbul. I went by bus which was a bit of a torture, 12,5 hours so I had a bit of a painful bumm :) To make the trip shorter the bus goes on a boat for 40 minutes, close to istanbul to avoid some trafic. Seagulls were following us all the way. There was also an amazing amount of huge jellyfishes in the sea, never saw something like that but didn't manage to picture them.
My main reason for this trip was the Etsy meeting but before that I made a nice boat trip and also did some supply shopping (hard to avoid that!!).
Kız kulesi also known as the Tower of Leandros...
Only a small part of the huge city.
One of the two bridges which connects the European side of Istanbul to the Asian side.

Istanbul has alot of history, in every corner and alley you can discover pieces of history. Old mosques, churches, ruines, buildings, a never ending place to discover new things every day.

It was a pleasure to meet Kristin aka Evihan, and see her shop and beautiful creations in real.

Kristin's work space, with all those gorgeous colors of glass.

And a peek in her shop, if you can't come to Istanbul, you can enjoy her work on Etsy.
