Get the Look Vol. 22 Harry Potter version
As a big Harry Potter fan this blogpost is really late but I never realized we have so many Harry Potter style pieces in our shop! This scene from the first movie in the resctricted area of the Library at Hogwarts shows Harry with a lantern. I wonder if other HP fans purchased some of our lanterns as we sold quite a few.

We have a similar looking trunk and it is actually big enough to fit someone in lol :)

Get the Look Vol.21

Dough bowls have been quite trendy for a while especially for farmhouse styled, rustic interiors, great as a big center piece for on the table as seen above. The American ones are often carved wood, our Turkish ones are a bit different than the ones you usually see.

Mid-century brass decor pieces are always sleek yet warm and cool. I always love how LeftCoastRevivals stages her pieces, and our Mid-century seagulls are from our last Florida trip.
It seems like anything collectible is being collected by someone, even brooms :)! But these are beautiful handmade ones. You could start your own collection with this beauty from the far east.
I love old trunks, they are always so full of character. The one above is triple-locked and clearly heavy-duty, our trunk turned coffee table is pretty cool too!
This does show how a statement lamp can change the entire look of a room. Our lamp is a very cool vintage Egyptian lamp made with hand blown glass grapes, the color gives it a very warm light.
I had taken this photo a few years ago in Nevada City, California. The Tramp art below reminds me a lot of the street lamps they had there!

Hand shaped door knockers originated in Muslim countries and symbolize the Hand of Fatima (recognized and used as a sign of protection as Evil Eye, just like the Hamsa).
We have two of these in the shop, beautiful solid brass vintage pieces, ready to give your door some character.
Don't you just love the textures of baskets? They give a rustic beach/ cottage vibe and can have a purpose too. Ours has a lovely stripe here and there giving it some extra color. These are great for couch throws storage, to cover ugly plastic plant pots, storage for logs for the fireplace etc.
Maybe this many swans is a little too much, although a lot of things do look more fun when grouped.
This little swan dish is a beautifully delicate piece made by Fitz And Floyd from 1981.
I hate hunting trophies and taxidermy but naturally found curiosities are always cool. We find some really cool bones on the beach, sometimes we don't even know what kind they are. This skull is of a wild boar, we have lots of them in the woods, and at night they come out in search of food.
While they look a lot alike the lamp above is electric and has a vintage look, while ours below is the real vintage deal. Both are very cool, perfect for a rustic or steampunk vibe.
Who says that beach vibes need to be blue, pink looks pretty beachy too.
Love the lovely shell print above, our pink beach decor is a beautiful vintage enamel piece from the brand Bovano of Cheshire, an atelier in Connecticut making only enamel pieces.
