Searching for Red

I'm not a 'Red person' some people almost always wear red, I have maybe 2 red pieces in my closet and hardly wear them. Somehow red has never attracted me. But now that autumn is here and all around us are leaves turning a beautiful red I knew I had to make this board before all those leaves are gone. The leaved branch is from our own garden. The pomegranate I picked from our neighbor who never collects it anyway, will be a nice prop for some pictures before we eat it :) There is the Earthbound necklace, one of the few red pieces we have in the shop. A big red coral branch, farmed of course. a red feather, battery, a super tiny cute pair of scissors, ribbon and some more odds and ends. And incase you feel hungry now, it is because of the red, look out at restaurants they often use hues of red as it makes you hungry and thirsty :)

Our Creative Space...

It has been a while since I last showed some action pictures in our jewelry making, mostly because our workplace has been a huge mess but as it isn't getting any better and I just always work messy I just went ahead and took some close up pics, without showing the overall chaos :)

As I sometimes get stuck, bored, distracted or simply another project comes to mind I always have lots of half finished pieces, and some days I just finish a whole bunch at once. We are now busy with old Turkmenistan pieces combined with beach pottery. I really like how the first pieces are coming together and we are having lots of fun while searching for the perfect pieces together.

Also some soldered shell pendants are in the make. Here you can see the before and after pictures.

The blue piece will become a part of this blue necklace all made with vintage elements. The old focal piece had an ugly stone in the center which I replaced with a beach pottery for a fun twist. Now only all pieces have to be put together for you to see the final result.

Still a bit in a seashore mood, we went for a big treasure hunt a few days ago, my body still hurts everywhere from all the climbing, bending over and super exercise :)

Our Creative Space...

New clocks are in progress, I love to play with the idea!
At the moment I'm testing for the numbers, trying different kind of fun solutions.

But nothing beats the wonderful look of the driftwood, impossible to remake!

Found some old pansion door numbers, going to look fun for a clock :)

And after spending hours and hours of foiling limpet shells and puzzling them together and soldering them all...

A seashore candle light was born, love the result, If I may say so...
